The Unicorn Nanny is a Texas nanny agency serving families in Austin and Dallas. Our nannies are the kind kids beg to see again. They’re creative and calm under pressure, and they’re always up for a park, a craft, or a big imaginary adventure.
Every placement is personal. We meet each family, interview each nanny, and only introduce people we’d trust with our own kids.
We believe there’s a perfect-fit nanny for every family. We call that person your unicorn. For a family with a newborn, that might be a night nurse who helps everyone finally sleep. For a toddler, it’s someone with endless patience and a song for everything. For older kids, it might be a nanny with deep neurodiversity experience, an artist, a world traveler, or a coach. Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Caitlin. I’ve been on both sides of the hire.
For nearly a decade, I was a career nanny to high-net-worth and high-profile families. I lived in with a family of four kids. I ran nurseries for newborns in their first weeks home. I also travelled with families between their homes in different states, through busy cities, and on family vacations. Private, discreet, on-the-go care is the work I know best.
Inside those homes, I helped families build their teams. I recruited, interviewed, hired, and trained nannies and household staff for them. I’ve done the same for my own household. I know what a great hire looks like from both sides. I also know that good training in the first few weeks is what makes a placement last.

Full-time
placement fee for a full-time nanny. Half ($500) starts your search. The other half is due once you hire your unicorn.
